@Andreabills I don't agree about that scene in 3x13.
To me, this scene didn't mean he was never gonna be better and that he was pretending all 8 months. It meant what he said in the tape he recorded : he was still the same Bryce and he did wanted to change but 1) change happens slowly so it wouldn't have taken only 8 months for him to change and 2) he could understand what he had done to all the girls, he could try to change his behavior and be better but he would have always been himself, meaning he would have always had the same personality and that makes his development this season realistic : you can learn from your mistakes, you can change your behavior for the better, but you can't change your nature, and being a rapist is not a nature/personality, it's a behavior that you can change, or a consequence of having mental illness.
Don't get me wrong they should be treated IN JAIL, and I'm not saying "rapists are victims not perpetrators", they are responsible for their actions.
And honestly, after being beaten up like he had been, Justin and Zach would have probably reacted in a similar way because they have the same kind of jock personality, doesn't mean they're rapists...
