I don't think so. There's strong cursing, it's a really graphic and vulgar, and as a 16 year old I couldn't even handle the first season alone for my mental health and emotional health.
If a 13 year old is gonna watch it, then I just recommend watching it with a parent or older sibling who's already seen the show, and talk through any thoughts and feelings he/she might feel. But again, I really don't think it's a good idea for a 13 year old to watch the show.
With an adult maybe but its up to their mum or dad
Yes I started watching it in 2017 when I was 10 and I’m fine person shouldn’t be scared of the read world. People kill them self and to see it lets others know it’s not an option and at the beginning of the episodes they give you a way to reach out, if you watch it with your kid and they are in a bad place it will give them an opportunity to talk to you.
I'm 17 and I didn't have a problem watching it, but my mom watched it with me. I think 13 yr olds should have a parent with them if they have questions or want to talk or so the parent knows what their child is watching and processing.
Anyone that says “with and adult” is lying. I’d do anything before watching this type of shit with my parent. 13 is probably good enough for most of the show. I mean you’re not gonna hear any words you don’t hear on a daily basis from your friends. However, I wouldn’t recommend season 2 episode 13 for anyone of ANY age. Nobody should ever witness that shit.
Yes I think it should be fine as long as they do watch it with an adult, whoever it may be, parents on older sibling. I was 12 when I started watching and had been fine because I understand the situations and it has help bring them to my attention
This is from a 13.5 POV
I would say don’t watch it if you find suicide violence drugs and stuff triggering
there where points which are very emotional and...
I would say if you are ok with these
understand what’s going on
and don’t get too emotional I would say thirteen just about
the only times I struggled was during Tyler’s harassment and when listening to the song the night we met because it just made me think of clay and Hannah
there is also a lot of swearing but only the b,s and f
I started watching it when I was 12 and now I'm 13. It's no big deal
It depends more on the maturity and personal experiences of the person as to age. some 18-20 may struggle whereas 12-13y olds may be fine
What do you think?
