[Katherine in an interview]
I'm a big historical-fiction fan. Anything written in the French Revolution, that kind of era, is so poignant. I got into history when I was 11 years old, and it all started with the Titanic. I'd read books in the library about it. Of course I've seen the movie, too—I don't think I've ever cried that much.

Quotes

Season 1

In the scene we stay on Hannah's face, and it's actually in the script, where it says 'we stay on Hannah's face longer than is comfortable', and I think it's important that we did that because, it is uncomfortable.

Season 2

I think it's interesting, 'cause that scene was actually the last scene I shot for Season 2, and everyone was there and I think it was just a really beautiful kind of way, for me, put her to rest I think, as a character.

You know I feel so grateful to have had the opportunity to tell Hannah's story so fully in Season 1. But I think at the end of the day, like, overall this season for everyone, we notice, that it's not really the smae Hannah that you see this season as you do in Season 1. You know, every time you see her, it's fiultered though the lens of someone else. I think recovery and healing were such an important theme, particularly Clay's journey and Clay's healing.

The relationship between Clay and Justin is a really interesting and very complementary relationship to watch. Although their world are so far apart and so dissimiliar... Clay is able to help Justin and vice versa Justin helps Clay in his own way.
