May Dempsey is Zach Dempsey's sister and George and Karen Dempsey's daughter. She is portrayed by Anna Zavelson.

Season 1[]
May is first seen when the Dempsey family is having dinner. She tells Zach that he's the best basketball player. When Zach gets his subpoena, May is worried that her brother is going to jail.
Season 2[]
Someone followed May, took pictures of her and put them in Zach's locker. May and her mom go to a baseball event for Zach, where Zach asks May if something happened at school. When Karen Dempsey says Zach needs to stay at the event to support Bryce, Zach tells May "let's go" and walks away with her.
