Nana Mensah (b. January 10, 1988) is a Ghanaian-American actress, writer and director. She played Amara Josephine Achola on 13 Reasons Why. 

Biography

Nana Mensah is an actress and writer, best known for Queen of Glory, The King of Staten Island (2020) and An African City (2014). She has also starred in New Amsterdam (2019) as Dr. Candelario, Orange Is the New Black (2018) and in Madam Secretary (2017) as Sally Palermo. She is a graduate of The University of Pennsylvania.
