Nora Walker is a recurring character in the second season and a main character in the third season of 13 Reasons Why. She is portrayed by Brenda Strong.
Nora is the Mother of Bryce Walker and his sister, and Wife of Barry Walker.[1]
Throughout the Series
Season 2
She is first seen when Kevin Porter comes to the Walkers house and asks if he can talk with her about her son's interactions with girls at school. She first tells him that her husband isn't home, but lets Mr. Porter in.
Through the season she's very sceptical about Bryce. She isn't sure if their son is that good of a person and if he is a rapist. She keeps asking her husband if he doesn't think the stories are true, while he is convinced that Bryce isn't a rapist and accuses Nora of not knowing her son.
When Nora confronts Bryce, she asks him what happened with Hannah and Chlöe because she doesn't believe what Bryce told in court was the whole story. At first Bryce tells her he just had sex with them, but Nora keeps asking questions. Bryce then describes what happened with Hannah in a very disrespectful way. Nora slaps him in the face and tells him that he brought shame on the family and is a stranger to the house.
